At least a dozen tornadoes touched down in central Kansas, around towns such as Hoisington, Olmitz, Susank and Sylvan Grove. Most of them crossed open farmland and were filmed by storm chasers. A barn near Susank was blown away, but there was no serious damage and nobody was hurt.
