St. Libory tornado

A big, clearly visible cone tornado swept past the small village of St. Libory in central Nebraska. It was rated EF3 with winds near 260 km/h and levelled two homes, sweeping one clean off its foundation.

Good to know
Nobody was hurt: a family in one collapsed house was safe in their basement and was dug out by rescuers.
Because the tornado was so easy to see, dozens of storm chasers filmed it from start to finish.
