On a hot July afternoon one long-lived thunderstorm crossed northern Poland and produced four tornadoes in a row. The strongest ploughed through the Tuchola Forest near Stara Rzeka and Osie, knocking down about 500 hectares of tall pine trees and damaging more than a hundred buildings.
