One evening a strong tornado crossed eastern Alberta near Tulliby Lake, close to the border with Saskatchewan. It travelled about 17.5 kilometres, was up to 450 metres wide and had winds near 230 km/h. It swept a wooden house away down to its foundations and tossed a large camper and a trailer. Nobody was reported hurt.
