One afternoon tornadoes formed ahead of a cold front in the Ñuble region of Chile. One of them hit the village of Llollinco, near Chillán Viejo. It tore the roof off a house and destroyed sheds and a barn. Trees fell and homes were damaged in four nearby towns. At least one person was hurt and nobody died.
