On an August afternoon a tornado crossed farmland near Piraí do Sul in Paraná, Brazil, for about 17 km. The state weather service rated it F3, and about 20 rural homes were damaged.

A farmer filmed the tornado from very close as it moved over the fields.
It was the tenth tornado recorded in Paraná in 2026, an unusually busy year for the state.
